Greetings guys and gals!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

I’ve been working my tail off since Friday trying to get everything squared away before I leave for the Big Easy this Thursday.  I’ve actually never been to New Orleans, so I’m pretty excited to check it out. Especially the food. And the jazz. And the beignets. And the beer. Hehe.

I’m hoping it won’t be too cold there, but I’m guessing since it’s supposed to get down into the 30’s in Tampa this week (boooooooo!), that there’s a pretty good chance of me freezing my ass off there as well.

Anywho, as I mentioned in my last post, I’ve been trying to get Ron Mead aka The Probate Guy aka The Grand Poobah of Probates (I actually just made that last one up, but I think it has a nice ring to it), to do a call with me and teach you guys how he has been profitting from probates (dead people’s houses), for the last sixteen years.  We were originally planning on holding the training in January, but it looks like we’re going to be able to do it this coming Wednesday December 8th instead!

For those of you who aren’t already familiar with Ron, he’s been working in the probate real estate niche for the last 16 years, and to say that he knows a thing or two about this topic would be a gross understatement.  I’ve had the chance to speak with him on the phone a couple of times, too, and not only is he extremely knowledgeable about probate investing, he’s also a heck of a nice guy.

OK, guys, the results are in from the first day of voting for the Battle of the Blogs contest that I talked about in my last post.

And I am getting my ASS kicked!

Right now, Julie Broad from RevNYou is CLEANING HOUSE with a whopping 76 votes!!  She said she has the entire country of Canada behind her, and apparently, she wasn’t kidding…

In second place is Susan Lassiter-Lyons with 40 votes..

Third place is none other than Mr. JP Moses, with 34 votes

And in 4th place is yours truly, with 30 votes!!

Rumor has it that Trevor Mauch is getting ready to send out an email to his HUMONGOUS email list, so he’s probably going to knock me right out of 4th place.  Actually, this just in…..the Probate Guy just sent out an email to his list and is up to 33 votes already.  CRAP!

I don’t know if I can compete with these guys and their email lists, but I’m going to fight it out ’til the bitter end!
