Holy Moly, I can’t believe it’s been almost two weeks since I last posted!
Like I mentioned previously, I’ve got quite a few things going on this month and I kinda feel like a chicken running around with my head cut off. But in a good way. Actually, I don’t think having your head cut off is ever a good thing, so never mind.
So, last weekend was the big trip to New Orleans with my mastermind group, The Flip Vips. We had a great time, and also managed to get some awesome brainstorming sessions in while we were there. And I also managed to spill an entire beer in my purse Friday night, ruining my cell phone in the process. Which was awesome.
Anywho…I took some pics for your viewing pleasure….
(Note: if we’re friends on Facebook, you’ve probably already seen these. Sorry.)
Dinner at Antoine’s Friday Night
Old menus dating back to the early 1900’s. Cool.
Steve Cook holding our dessert: Baked Alaska.
Inside the Baked Alaska. Mmmmmmmmm.
And then we hit Bourbon Street. Look out.
Me pretending like I know how to play the git-tar (and smoke a cigar), with fellow Flip Vip Steve Cavanaugh.
Huge Ass Beers to Go. What more could you ask for?
Say Cheeeeeeeeese!
JP posing under his sign
Cafe Du Monde. I am ashamed to say I did not get a beignet here.
Instead, me and Ken Holmes opted to head across the street for (another) beer.
Sorry Shae.
Ken, Steve, JP, and Shaun. Nice hat, JP.
Me, Shaun, and Brian horsing around.
Brian getting some late night pizza.
Heeeeeeeeeheeeeeeee.
Pizza for all.
The Lady VIPs: Me and Christina Ferris.
(No idea what I’m laughing about here, btw. Perhaps the fact that my cell phone is sitting at the bottom of my purse covered with 4 inches of beer? Because that is truly hysterical when you stop and think about it).
We met bright and early the next day to do some brainstorming. (Probably shouldn’t have stayed out until 5am the night before. Stupid hindsight).
Law and Steve.
Dinner at the Gumbo Shop Saturday Night
Shaun doing “magic” tricks on Bourbon St.

Fritzels, the coolest jazz cub EVER. This band was effing AWESOME!
THE END.
Oh wait. Not quite.
On the flight home, the dude sitting in front of me kept invading my personal space, so I bit his hand.
Sort of.
Heeeeeeeeeeee.
So anyway, that was my trip to New Orleans, in a nutshell.
It took me a few days to recover, and then I spent the rest of the week getting ready for the launch of me and Julie, and Shae, and Susan’s kick ass new website: DivaMoneyClub. We opened the doors yesterday after five months of preparation, so that has been keeping me very busy. (If you haven’t signed up yet, and want to do so, you can click here to join).
And then I’m heading up to St. Louis next week to spend Christmas with the fam.
And then I’ll be back in Tampa preparing for the ass kicking that I’m about to deliver on 2011.
And that’s all I’ve got for now, folks.
10-4, Over and Out!
