Greetings, Blogosphere!
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend..
I had a nice, relaxing time hanging out with my Dad, sister, and nephew in St. Louis. We ate, drank, and be’d merry.
My sister and her husband just got a great deal on an REO that is right up the street from their house, so we went to check that out while I was there. Turns out that Countrywide uses the same lock box code in St. Louis that they do in Tampa (CHE-). Hehe.
I brought my trusty camera along and snapped some pictures while I was away…

Me, little man Trevor, and Jack the dog

My Dad's dog, Fella giving Trevor a kiss.

Late night brewskis on the patio with Dad

Good times.
.
So, anywho, I’m back in sunny F-L-A and ready to get some work done. I brought my laptop with me to St. Louis and was planning on doing a little work while I was there, but as luck would have it, my Sony Vaio that I got earlier this year has taken to randomly shutting itself off for no apparent reason. This makes me really happy, as you can imagine.
Well, that’s all I’ve got for now. I’ve got another Reader Mail video coming up in the next day or two, so stay tuned..
Later Alligators!
P.S.
For those who didn’t catch my sarcasm on my last post….. I was only kidding about the whole Oprah thing. Trust me, if anything like that were ever to happen, I will devote an entire blog post to the topic, and the post title will read something more like…. “HOLY SHIT PEOPLE, I’M GOING TO BE ON OPRAH!!!
P.P.S.
I guess now would be as good a time as any to come clean about the whole Roger Federer thing…
I made all of that up, too- we aren’t really dating.

I think I have pinpointed the reason everyone is believing your tall tales lately — your new blog looks so darn good that everyone assumes everything written on it must be true!

Thanks Don- glad you like the new look.
I will try to not make up stories anymore. I can’t make any promises, though..
Hehe.

Sorry to disappoint, Jared.
Now that he’s married and has twins, I think it’s time to face the facts and end the charade..

Hey Steph,
I believed you were going to get your book on the Oprah book club. You know what? if you didn’t know it by now I’m a little stubborn. I would never bet against you especially if that’s what you really wanted to do. Set a goal to do it and you will get there.

Well that means an awful lot to me, Roshard.
As always, I appreciate your encouragement, and hope you know I’m always here to help when you need anything.

With your laptop shutting down spontaneously, I used to have the same problem with my Toshiba. I took me a long time to figure out that my computer wasn’t a POS and that it was actually shutting down when it overheated. Make sure that if you actually use it while on your lap or on a bed, etc. allow for circulation by the intake fan and exhaust vent.

Hi Justin,
I actually thought that was the case at first, but it has also shut down within minutes of me turning it on.
It’s been fine since I got back home, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s nothing serious..
Thanks for the advice

Jusitn is right. If it does it again let me know and I will trouble shoot it for you. Thx
(More times than not when a computer just shuts off it could also be a hardware problem)

Thanks, Roshard. I appreciate it.
I don’t know the difference between a hardware problem and a regular problem, but it doesn’t sound good. Hopefully it will just go away.

That’s how I handle my computer problems… I just hit restart, squeeze my eyes, and hope they go away.
ps. It’s good to see that you’re starting to admit your big-fat-liar problem.
