I take back all of the bad things I said about the California investor who I hadn’t heard from. He sent me an email overnight (last night) explaining that he hadn’t been able to access email all day.
I have another buyer who wants to look at the property tomorrow a.m .(he just sent me an email), but now I can’t get in touch with the California guy (again) to set anything up.
It’s all kind of comical.
I sent him an email a little bit ago (for some reason he can’t take/make phone calls while he is in Canada. Not sure the reason), and am hoping he will see it before the morning, which is when I’m supposed to call the potential buyer and let him know when he can see the property.
I kind of feel like I’m on an episode of Three’s Company. I guess this is a perfect example of why you should never lose control of a deal. Funny (or not) how I’ve read or been told a billion times to always stay in control of your deal, but it never really made sense until now. It really SUCKS to not be in control of a deal. I’d like to say that it will never happen again, but I am a slow learner sometimes.
